Fans of the popular Netflix series Sacred Games had been eagerly waiting for the trailer of its second installment to release ever since the announcement was made. Sacred Games was Netflix India’s first original series and as soon as the trailer of its second season came out yesterday, fans went gaga over it. Seems like people could not contain their excitement and within one day of the trailer being released, social media was flooded with the funniest memes!

Even Durex, known for their witty and creative ad campaigns, took inspiration from Sacred Games 2 and their latest ad just bowled us over! Durex Condoms’ latest commercial has a hilarious take on the poster of Sacred Games. The poster in their ad reads ‘Sacred Rains’, promoting their brand of condoms, and it is creativity at its absolute peak! The ad has a tag-line below which reads “Come prepared” along with the release date of the show. The caption of the post shared on their social media reads, “@NetflixIndia, we’ve got our ‘chhatris’ ready #SacredGames2 #sacredgames2trailer”

The advertisement had our attention and surely made us stop and stare! Meanwhile, after months of waiting, the release date of Sacred Games 2 was reveled. The show will be back on Netflix on August 15, 2019. The series is directed by Anurag Kashyap and Neeraj Ghaywan, and has been adapted by Vikram Chandra’s book with the same name. Writers Varun Grover, Smita Singh and Vasant Nath have adapted the book for the series.
